The very scenic road taken by Napoleon when he escaped the Elbe island where he was exiled

The route leads to 'Gorges du Verdon‘, the deepest canyon in Europe offering breathtaking views. The one hour cliff road (with many stops) ends at Ste Croix lake with turquoise waters. The next stop is Moustiers Ste Marie with its huge star hanging between the two cliffs since the XVth century.

Moustiers is very famous for its crockery's. You can visit a workshop and get a valuable souvenir or present.

In June/July, the trip can end on ‘Valensol Tables’ for enjoying the lavender blossom.
